Crime Reporters Association of Nigeria, CRAN, has extended its milk of kindness to the less privileged children of the Saint Monica’s Orphanage by donating gift items ranging from foods, electronics and toiletries to them.
P.M.EXPRESS reports that the orphanage is the brainchild of the Catholic Archdiocese of Lagos devoted to the care of orphans, homeless, babies and children accommodated in the faith-based shelter situated at 1, Victor Odunaiya Street, off Agbado Road, Oke Ayo Bustop, Iju Ishaga area of the state.
The association of crime journalists led by its President, Mr. Odita Sunday, on Friday donated all kinds of basic needs (toiletries, food items, kitchen equipment) to the children as part of the association’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR).

According to the President, “We deemed it fit to bring some of the blessings we received last year”.
In response, Rev. Sister Mary Raphella Emordi, who received the gifts on behalf of the orphanage said: “The gifts are well received! We thank you very much for these items. Don’t say the gifts are little, from the back that I was, I can see a micro wave oven, which is not little, in the face of challenges facing the home as she claimed that the sustainability of the children’s welfare is based on the charitable gesture of kind hearted individuals like you”.
