Community Commends Gov Bello’s Presence In Zango Daji

It was another joyful day into the one year of Governor Yahaya Bello of Kogi State as thousands of people from Zango Daji in Adavi Local Government came out to show their support and appreciation towards the recognition of the community by the government. 

The Kogi State Government has sited a solar power station that will light the whole state capital and its environs in Zango Daji. PM EXPRESS also gathered that the government of Yahaya Bello is also planning to build some hundred units of estate and residential quarters along Zariagi town.

Speaking on behalf of the community when the Governor visited the area recently, Comrade Daudu Moses pleaded with the Governor Bello to look into the problem of the voting right of his people, as there is no polling unit in the community.  He added that Zango Daji has no market, schools and functional hospitals as they have to travel to either Ogaminana or Lokoja to have access to these facilities.

In what came as a surprised to the people, Governor Bello immediately instructed the various commissioners  in charge of the demands of the community to commence works on how soon the facilities will be provided for the people.

Alhaji Damisa Suleiman, Community leader in Igbiraland in Kogi State 

One of the community leaders in Igbiraland, Alhaji Damisa Suleiman, a philanthropist, while speaking with PM EXPRESS, commended the leadership style of the Governor. He added that what Bello has been doing since he assumed office shows that he meant well for the good people of Kogi State. He reiterated the support of Igbiraland to the administration of Governor Yahaya Bello. 

It was however a carnival like as the people of the community almost followed the Governor and his entourage into the capital city before returning back to Zango community on the day of Bello’ visit.
