A 28-year old notorious bandit, Emeka Okeke, popularly known as Aso Rock, has been arrested by Police operatives from Awka Command for allegedly forcefully taking a 36-year old lady from her lover at gun point and engaging her in sex inside the school premises.

P.M.EXPRESS reports that the alleged rape took place at  Community Primary School, Okpuno in Awka South Local Government, Anambra State.
The suspect, Aso Rock, who has been arrested and is cooling his head in Police custody, was said to have lured the victim to the premises of a Primary School in the area where he raped her after threatening her with a cutting hand saw, that looked like a short gun.
After the alleged assault and humiliation, the matter was reported to the Police and the victim was taken to the hospital for medical examination and presently receiving treatment. This was confirmed by the Police Public Relations Officer, Haruna Mohammed, who said the suspect has been arrested and undergoing interrogation over the act.
He said the Commissioner of Police, Mr. John B.Abang, has ordered for immediate transfer of the case to the State Criminal investigation Department, SCID, Awka, for discreet investigation after which suspect would be charged to Court for prosecution.
Mohammed said: “On the 7th May, 2020, a 36-years old lady resident at UNIZIK Temp-site Awka, reported at B Division Awka that at about 9pm on 6th May, 2020, while departing with her friend at Okochi Okpuno, a man later identified as Emeka Okeke ‘m’ aged 28 years, alias “Aso Rock” followed her closely, raised his shirt to show her a ‘gun’ tucked in his waist and threatened to shoot her dead if she did not submit herself to his demand for sex”.

“Consequently, the frightened victim, believing it was a real gun and under the fear of being shot dead, followed him to a building in Okochi where he forcefully had unlawful carnal knowledge of her. Again while being led out of the scene, the suspect, Aso Rock, forcefully led her to the premises of Community Primary School Okpuno, where he had another rounds of sex with the victim.”
“Following the report, the suspect was trailed and arrested by Police detectives in conjunction with vigilante group attached to Opuno Community. Search was conducted on the suspect instantly and the handle of a cutting hand saw with semblance of a shotgun, which he concealed underneath his shirt, was recovered as exhibit. Upon interrogation the suspect voluntarily confessed to the alleged crime.”
“Meanwhile, victim was taken to the hospital for medical examination and presently receiving treatment. The suspect is also a notorious offender, who recently returned from the correctional centre at Awka over alleged case of manslaughter.”
