Senator Ekwunife Attends Igbo-Ukwu Political Summit

The Senator representing Anambra Central Senatorial District and a frontline Governorship Aspirant for the 2021 Anambra Governorship election, Senator Uche Ekwunife (Adaugo Igbo-Ukwu), on Saturday attended Igbo-Ukwu Political Summit.
The summit which was held at the F. O. Onyekwelu Hall, Etiti, Igbo-Ukwu was organized to chart a way forward for the political fortunes and furture of the Igbo-Ukwu community.

Speaking at the event, Senator Ekwunife formally informed Igbo-Ukwu political stakeholders of her intention to run for the 2021 Anambra Governorship election. She noted that as a worthy daughter of Igbo-Ukwu and a bonafide member of the Old Aguata Union (OAU) her interest in the growth and development of the community and the OAU remains unflinching.
She reiterated her commitment to a style of governance that is driven by the need to address the yearnings of the people and appealed to all well meaning sons and daughters of Igbo-Ukwu to support her gubernatorial ambition.

Her remarks were received with positive reactions by many of the Stakeholders present.
It is important to note that Senator Uche Ekwunife is a daughter of Igbo-Ukwu in Aguata Local Government Area (LGA) of Anambra State. Though being married in Nri in Anaocha LGA, her laudable strides and visible interest in the development of Aguata communities earned her the prestigious title of Nnedioramma Aguata in 2002.
