P.M.EXPRESS reports as disclosed by the Police Public Relations Officer, SP Olumuyiwa Adejobi.

SP Adejobi stated that on the receipt of the distress call by the Police operatives in the area, the Area Commander Area J, Ajah, dispatched a team to the scene and traced the snatched car to Mayfair Garden, Ibeju Lekki.

He said that the suspects were arrested, the driver rescued and the car recovered as exhibit, which is in Police custody.

He also revealed that the Police recovered one axe stained with blood, and one knife from the suspects suspected to have been used for attack on victims during their operation.

The driver, who was seriously injured, is receiving treatment at a hospital within Lagos State and recuperating.
