NTA Senior Manager, Tunde Saiki Dies

A senior journalist with the Nigerian Television Authority (NTA), Mr. Babatunde Saiki, is dead.

Chairman of Nigerian Union of Journalists (NUJ), Lagos Council, Dr. Qasim Akinreti, who confirmed Saiki’s death, said the senior journalist died at the Victoria Island, Lagos Office of the Television station in the morning of 30 October 2020.

“Dear colleagues, we just lost one of our members in NTA Victorial Island chapel, Mr. Tunde Saiki…Tunde died in the office this morning and his corpse deposited at the morgue,” Akinreti said.

He continied; “….May God forgive him of his shortcomings. My condolences to his family and the NTA management.”

Saiki until his death was Manager, News and Current Affairs with NTA Lagos Network Centre and also Head Political Desk, NTA LNC.

He rose through the ranks after his redeployment from NTA Iruepken to NTA Lagos Network Centre few years ago.

He is survived by wife and Children.
