Growing Endorsements Of Oyetola Easing The Stress Of Party Primaries – Prince Famodun

The Chairman of the Osun State wing of the All Progressive Congress Party, Prince Adegboyega Famodun, has said that the growing endorsements of Governor Adegboyega Oyetola of the State of Osun for continuity in office beyond 2022 is gradually easing the possible stress of party primaries.

He said the fact that the endorsements are coming earlier before the primaries gladdens his heart as the party chairman, adding that so many groups and structures of the party are willing to follow suit by endorsing Oyetola.

Famodun, speaking during the Award and Endorsement ceremony of Governor Adegboyega Oyetola by the IleriOluwa Next Level Progressive Movement, on Wednesday, said the event was the third in about a month where he witnessed the endorsement of Oyetola for continuity.

“The first place was at Ijebujesha where our Governor was endorsed for second term by the people of Ilesha North Federal Constituency, Obokun-Oriade.

“The second occasion was by the party members, leaders and followers at the West Senatorial district in Iwo, just about a month ago. They endorsed him for a second term in office, to the glory of God and for the benefit of party members.

“I consider it a job done for me as a party leader and party chairman, that the issue of primaries, as far as I am concerned, is settled for the Governor.

“This is the third occasion, organized by the IleriOluwa Next Level Progressive Movement, also endorsing Governor Adegboyega Oyetola for a second term in office. This is the work of God, and it is beyond the comprehension of anyone”, Famodun stated.

He also appreciated the efforts of the IleriOluwa Next Level Progressive Movement, describing the group as one that has shown dedication and love for the party.

Famodun continued: “I want to appreciate the effort of the IleriOluwa team. They have shown dedication and love both for the Party and for the Governor. This kind of dedication should model our response to the developmental strides that are being recorded in the State.

“This kind of attitude is such that assures the longevity of our Party and by extension progressive governance in Osun”, Famodun added.
