Rt. Hon. Iwuanyanwu Pays Condolence Visit To Onuoha Family Over Loss Of Father

The Deputy Speaker of the Imo State House of Assembly and member representing Nwangele Constituency, Rt. Hon. Amara Iwuanyanwu, accompanied by select leaders in his immediate Constituency, paid a condolence visit to the Onuoha family of Umunakara village, Nwangele LGA Imo State, over the demise of their patriarch, the late Rev. Lawrence Onuoha, whose death occurred last Friday, February 5, 2021, after a brief illness.

The entourage of the Imo Deputy Speaker for the condolence visit was heartily received by the son of the deceased, High Chief Michael Onuoha (Eririego of Igboland, Lord Earl), on behalf of the Onuoha family in Umunakara village, Nwangele LGA. 

The egghead State legislator, Rt. Hon. Amara Iwuanyanwu, while commiserating with the bereaved Onuoha  family stated that “Nwangele LGA has lost a beautiful soul, a respected community leader and an upright man, who dedicated the remaining part of his pilgrim life in the service of God and humanity”.
Iwuanyanwu maintained that “Pa Lawrence Onuoha’s death is a great loss to his family and immediate community as his sterling leadership qualities,  exemplary lifestyle and wise counsels will be greatly missed”.

The Traditional Ruler of Umunakara Autonomous Community, His Royal Highness, Eze Ndubueze Godwin Ejiogu,  who also played host to the  visitors, registered his condolences while advising the family to take consolation in the fact that their late father lived a purpose driven and fulfilled life, left a legacy of peace and died a happy man.

High Chief Mcmaurice Kwenu  was also in attendance to  console Eririego of Igboland and members of the Onuoha family.

However, Chief Michael Onuoha (Ide Nwangele), consoled by the condolence visit and words of encouragement from his State Representative and other respected leaders, thanked them for identifying with his family at this trying time of grief.

Members of the Imo Deputy Speaker’s entourage who accompanied him on the condolence visit included: Dr Chidi Uzoma, SA to the Imo State Governor|Lagos Liason Officer, Chief Dr. Batos Nwadike (Oyii of Igboland ), Special Adviser on Political Matters to the Imo Governor, Hon. Bobby Michaels; SA to the Governor on Entertainments.
