Senate Plenary: Senator Adeola Appointed As Acting Chief Whip

The distinguished lawmaker representing Lagos West Senatorial District and Chairman, Senate Committee on Finance, Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adeola, FCA, FCITN, has been appointed the Acting Chief Whip of the Senate.

Senator Adeola’s appointment in that capacity followed the absence of the Chief Whip, distinguished Senator Orji Uzor Kalu and the Deputy Chief Whip, who were not around. 

Having been appointed by the Senate President, Senator Adeola will act as a Principal Officer of the Senate until the Chief Whip and the Deputy Chief Whip are back in plenary.
