2 Men In Police Net For Beating Lady Over Joint Sex Squabble

The Police in Ejigbo Division of the Lagos State Command have arrested two men, Rotimi Anifowose, 31 and Ebuka Gabriel 30, for allegedly beating up a lady, Chidinma Uche, for refusing joint sex bargain with her.

The incident happened at Isheri Oshun Road, Bucknor area of Ejigbo, where they accosted the lady.

The lady was said to have engaged the suspects only to discover that they were negotiating to have joint sex with her, she refused and attempted to walk away.

However, her action angered the suspects, who attacked, assaulted and damaged properties in her apartment including Aluminum window.

The alleged assault was reported to the Police, who arrested the suspects. After interrogation and having found them culpable, they were charged before the Ejigbo Magistrates Court for conspiracy and malicious damage.

They pleaded not guilty.

The prosecutor, Inspector Bernard  Aigbokhan, then asked the Court to give a date for hearing for the Police to prove that they actually committed the alleged offence.

Thus, the Presiding Magistrate, Mr. E.O. Ogunkanmi, granted the defendants bail in the sum of N200, 000 with two sureties in like sum.

They were remanded in Correctional Centre pending when they will perfect their bail conditions.
