Hon Kasunmu Presents 4 Water Borehole Facilities To Constituents

As part of the activities marking his birthday celebration, the Lawmaker representing Ikeja Constituency 2 in the Lagos State House of Assembly, Hon. Adedamola Richard Kasunmu (ARK), has officially presented Four Water Borehole facilities to four communities within his Constituency.
The communities, which benefitted were Yakoyo, Ojodu (Aina), Ipodo and Anifowoshe.

Hon ARK also provided four 2.5KVA power generators for the boreholes machines whenever there is power outage.
Party and Community Leader, Alhaji Atinsola, commissioned Yakoyo Borehole amidst pomp; Ward F Chairman and Ojodu Ward Chair of Chair, Alhaji Tadeco declared Ojodu borehole open with excitement; Ikeja CDC Chairman, Alhaji Osiberu and Hon. Benjy Osundairo commissioned the Anifowoshe borehole with panache, while Hon. Agunbiade and former Councillor, Adeyemi, declared Ipodo borehole open with jubilation.

All the leaders stood-in for Hon. Adedamola Richard Kasunmu.

Notable party and communities leaders also witnessed the brief but colourful ceremonies which took place simultaneously at the four locations on Monday afternoon.

The borehole projects were solely funded and executed by Hon. ARK under ARK COMMUNITY WATER INITIATIVE (ACWI) with the aim of domesticating Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) 1, 2 and 6 in his Constituency.
Hon. Kasunmu revealed, “This is Phase one, as other communities will benefit in subsequent phases”.

The lawmaker urged the communities to maintain the facilities properly. He also promised to explore the instruments of law-making to get Lagos State Water Corporation (LSWC) to improve on their services to the Constituency.
