Ahead Lagos APC Poll: Daniel Egobi Optimistic To Pick Ward K Ticket In Amuwo-Odofin LG

Daniel Egobi, popularly referred to EOD, one of the aspirants vying to become the Councilor representing Ward “K”, Amuwo-Odofin Local Government Area, AOLGA, has stated why he is in the race to become the next lawmaker representing Ward ‘K’ for the next four years.

Egobi, who is seeking to pick the All Progressives Congress, APC Councillorship ticket in the primaries expected to hold this weekend said he is in the race to serve his constituency and also to change what people have always accepted as the ‘norm’.

The young and energetic politician said if he eventually picks the party’s ticket at the end of the primaries, and he goes ahead to win the election at the end of the day, the electorates should be experiencing a new lease of life.

On his chances of picking the party’s sole ticket in Ward ‘K’, he said he had put his political machinery in place and he is sure at the end of the day he would pick the sole ticket, hinging his optimism on his acceptance by the party leaders and the electorates at large.

He added that he has mobilized his supporters to register en mass during the last APC revalidation and registration exercise.

“I singlehandedly mobilized party faithful to revalidate their party’s voter’s cards, I was also instrumental to getting new members into our dear party’s folds, and I know that I have done enough to merit the party’s ticket with the little I have been able to do.” 

An Ordinary National Diploma, OND holder in Business Administration from the foremost Yaba College of Technology, YabaTech, Lagos State hinted that he is keeping his manifestoes close to his chest and would unveil them at the appropriate time for the electorates to see and decide for themselves, either to cast their votes in his favour or against him.

He concluded by urging youths to channel their energies to something worthwhile and they should shun the use of illicit drugs, armed robbery and other social vices as these bad traits are capable of destroying their bright futures. In his words of advice to youths.

“My fellow Amuwo-Odofin LGA and Lagos States youths I want you all to engage yourselves in things that can help move our LGA and State to the next level, we can’
