A job seeking lady was allegedly turned into a sex slave in Lagos after she was promised work but eventually engaged in marathon sex for several weeks and yet was not given any.

P.M.EXPRESS reports that the man in question, Kingsley Onuoha, has been arrested.

The incident happened at Victory Estate in Iba area of Lagos, where the suspect, Onuoha resides.

While the girl’s captivity lasted, the suspect was said to always leave the house pretending to have gone to look for work for her but usually returned to tell fabricated stories. She will believe him and he will end up engaging her in sex.

The Police alleged that the suspect, Onuoha, had abducted the girl and detained her under the false pretence of getting job for her and engaged her in sex severally giving her false hope of securing job for her.

She was in such situation until she eventually realised that he was not looking for any job for her but only deceived her in order to be obtaining sex from her.

It was then she reported the scam to the Police and the man was arrested. After interrogation and having been found culpable, he was subsequently charged before the Ebute Metta Magistrates Court for statutory rape, which attracts several years of imprisonment if he is tried and found guilty before the Court.

However, his plea was not taken at the Court after the prosecutor, Inspector Abdul Sanusi, asked the Court to refer the matter to the DPP for advice.

The Presiding Magistrate, Mrs. F.F. George, ordered his remand in Correctional Centre pending the outcome of the DPP’s advice and directed the prosecutor to duplicate the file and send to the DPP while the defendant will remain in custody pending the outcome of DPP’s report, which will determine if the matter will be transferred to the High Court or not over jurisdiction.
