Ekwunife Felicitates With Minister Of Labour And Employment, Senator (Dr) Chris Ngige At 69

The Senator representing Anambra Central Senatorial District, Uche Ekwunife PhD, has joined family, friends and well-wishers of the Minister of Labour and Employment, Dr. Chris Nwabueze Ngige OON, to pay glowing tribute as he marks his 69th birthday anniversary.

Ekwunife describes the Alor-born medical doctor, former Governor, Senator and serving Minister as an astute public servant, seasoned politician and one of the most professionally and politically accomplished Nigerians.

The Chairman Senate Committee on Science, Technology and Innovation eulogizes Dr. Ngige for demonstrating uncommon leadership qualities, courage and patriotism in handling the affairs of the Labour Unions. The Senator recognizes the efforts of the Minister towards formulating policies for the economic development and prosperity of the country.

Ekwunife notes that Dr Ngige is one of the few politicians from the South East who have achieved enviable success at both the state and national levels, adding that his legacies while serving as the governor of Anambra state are enduring, and consequently cannot be wished away amongst his contemporaries.
