Former Reps Member & Ambassador, Jerry Ugokwe Pledges Support For Senator Andy Uba’s Candidature

Home and abroad, it seems that the candidature of Senator Andy Uba is growing in stature as more stakeholders are associating with his candidature from far and wide.
Most recent of such endorsement / support came when Ambassador Jerry Ugokwe, a chieftain of the APC and Director of the Andy Uba Campaign Council, was feted by Distinguished Ndi Anambra in New York and Anambra Women in New York to rally support for the Andy Uba/ Barrister Emeka Okafor ticket.
The event, which was held on Friday 27th August, 2021, at the Farmers Boulevard, Springfield Gardens, Queens, New York, was chaired by Chief Mrs. Ebosie Ugodibeze.
At the event, speaker after speaker eulogized in volumes the Uba/ Okafor ticket as one that would liberate Ndi Anambra from the shackles of bad governance and underdevelopment.
Responding, Ambassador Ugokwe thanked the people present for their hospitality and urged them to also reach out to their kith and kin in Anambra and tell them about the numerous opportunities an Andy Uba administration would offer Ndi Anambra at home and abroad, thus the need to queue behind the APC candidate.
In another event, this time organised by Anambra Women in New York, Senator Uba was described as the best man for the job.
The women, who were led by Lady Ngozi Onunkwor , promised to mobilise all the needed support for Uba as well as come down to Anambra to campaign intensely with the candidate.
Again, responding to the pledged support, Ambassador Ugokwe stated that no candidate had plans for women as well as those in diaspora than Senator Uba, stating that even his campaign organisation had the highest number of women, who were involved in the day to day running of the campaign. He also promised that women would be carried along in the Uba administration should the APC win the gubernatorial elections come 6th November, 2021.
