Synod 2021: Ifeanyi Ubah Thanks Anglicans For Their Prayers & Support, Gives New Car To Nnewi Bishop

The Candidate of the Young Progressives Party (YPP) for the forthcoming Anambra State Governorship Election, Senator Dr. Patrick Ifeanyi Ubah, on Sunday, appreciated the Anglican Communion for their prayers and supports.

The Senator made the remarks while addressing the congregation at the 2021 Nnewi Diocesan Synod which took place at St. James Anglican Church Ichi. According to him, the prayers of the church for him are indeed overwhelming and he can only reciprocate that by giving more supports to humanity and services in the Lord’s Vineyard. He further reassured the church that he will always support God’s works irrespective of the denomination involved and urged them to continue praying for constituted authorities.

Speaking on his vision for the Church, the YPP Candidate said that he will never relent in giving supports that will assist the Church in promoting peace and orderliness in the Society. Senator Ubah who in recent past, gifted brand new Jeeps to Anglican Bishops in Anambra State and beyond, further thanked the Anglican Bishop of Nnewi Diocese, His. Lordship Rt. Rev. Ndubuisi Obi, for his selfless services in the Lord’s Vineyard and announced that he came with a brand new Benz Car which shall be handed over to him after the event in order to assist him in piloting the affairs of the Diocese.

Senator Ubah also donated the sum of Two Million Naira and prayed God to continue to guide the Bishop in performing his duties as a Shepherd.

Responding, Bishop Obi prayed God to bless the visions of Senator Ubah. He further appreciated him for releasing his Authority Radio Station to the Diocese to conduct services through the air wave during the era of COVID-19 Lockdown free of charge. He also appreciated him for his selfless services and urged him to continue doing good.

The event, which was attended by the Bishop’s wife and clergymen also featured the handing over of the brand new Benz car to the Bishop by Senator Ubah.
