Meet Two Players Of Asisat Oshoala Foundation Clinic Playing For Nigeria’s Falconets

Two girls from the Asisat Oshoala Foundation Football4girls project, are playing for Nigeria’s U-20 team, the Falconets, ahead of the World Cup.
 
The Asisat Oshoala Foundation is set out to help young girls become the next African star through education and sports, and just like Rashidat Ajibade and Chidinma Okeke, two other girls have joined the national team.

The midfielder, Esther Onygenezide and defender, Chidinma Ogbuchi, all participated in the 2020 event, and are now part of the success stories of the Asisat Oshoala Foundation. 

The players, having passed through the Asisat Oshoala Foundation clinics, are now top players who star in the Nigeria women’s national team in the age category.

They both put up a stellar performance in the team’s 7-0 win over Central African Republic, in the first leg of the qualifiers for the FIFA women’s U-20 World Cup campaign.

The Football4girls is one of the many projects from the foundation, including the Football4hope, Inspire Girls Africa, Back to School project, Food project, and some key donations to schools and communities.

The 2021 edition of the Football4girls will hold in December, and the goal of the foundation is the produce the next superstar.
