A Bit Of China And The People

Many of us see China and its people back home in the stereotype prisms we’ve held onto over the years- ugly, dubious, mean people ruled by intolerant government. Far from that.
Like every country China has their share of bad eggs, who are actually in such great in minority you barely notice them in their country. Yes, Chinese people can be quite handsome and very beautiful. Beautiful in body and soul. They are very intelligent, hospitable, honest and hardworking. Less for the language barrier, China is one of the best to go to for your holidays.
I have been to China about 5 times in the last 20 years or so before now, and in each trip I usually stay for nothing less than 23 days traveling to different cities on both business and leisure.
I have been to other countries in Asia, Europe and the Americas but every time I come to China I can’t help but having this feeling they must be afraid of running out of money the next day, why they are so obsessed about heavily and continuously investing in infrastructure. This people would built bridges or rail lines that would actually be put to use the next decade or 2.
The people are so hardworking they barely have time to spend the money and even to make and raise babies. The government used to restrict childbirth but now their population growth is in the negative. Presently the government is offering incentives for more child births and engineer longer holidays to encourage them to go on holidays to spend money still it’s not helpful enough in solving deficit nor reduce the cash savings in banks.
Food is plenty and China has a thousand ways to prepare any type of food. So you’d always have so much you’d love to eat. No, their foods are not all about crawling slithering and jumping things.
Unlike what many think, these people are most hospitable. They can spoil you with attention and care. Very clean cheap hotels, be then 5star in comparison to other countries. Thousands of captivating holiday resorts. Beautiful views, both in the cities and the remote areas. Easy connections to about anywhere by rail, air and road transport. Safe and well maintained roads. Fantastic security. Shops and markets at every corner for the best shopping experience. Impressive health delivery services, considering their huge population. Intact cities like Shanghai are homes to hotels and shopping malls that can rival the best in Dubai.
All the government needs to do is to loosen the hold on internet access and allow for more information sharing and press freedom and they will be banking hundreds of billions from the tourism industry. And not small percentage of this will be coming from Nigerians on health tourism.
