Bold and daring Sotayo

For close watchers of Nollywood, especially its Yoruba genre, they would have noticed a warm relationship over the last couple of weeks between pretty and daring movie star, Tayo Sotayo and seasoned crossover actor Antar Laniyan.
Hold it for a minute! The relationship is not what many might be thinking, but purely a business and we can authoritatively tell you the partnership is taking both to places.
Sources told P.M.EXPRESS that Sotayo and her Sotee Entertainment Company have enlisted the service of the dark-skinned thespian to act in and direct two movies for them.
And the location is Accra, Ghana.
One of the movies tells the story a rich spoilt-brat and hot-tempered girl (Sotayo), who killed a friend at a party and was sentenced to Jail. But, her Sugar Daddy and a Senator (Antar Laniyan) pulled the strings for her to be set free.
Sotayo, the star of “Bella”, one of her prominent movies, also dragged alongside to Ghana, Baba Tee, Enitan Fashian and a couple of other actors for the movie project.
While the other movie also shot in Ghana is an Igbo comedy movie.
Meanwhile, a clip on Sotayo’s Instagram account shows that the actress and producer has got the nods of Empress Njamah,  Eniola Badmus, and MC Abbey among others to feature in a sequel to her hit movie, Bella, that will be in production soon.
