Add Value To Your Task

The refusal to pay value added tax (VAT) is not the problem, but the inability to add value to our task.

Everyone in the country is entitled to a task. Whatever you do is important; the ability for you to add value to it is inevitable.

In the absence of value, a mortgager can turn a morgue cleaner, and a beautiful community a ghetto.

What does it take to paint? It’s not easy … replies a man that values his painting.

Value is no pride. If a calabash owner calls it broken in no time will people turn it to a waste bin.

It is the lack of value that will make someone turn a drainage system to a refuse dump; and the consequences will be for all. It is lack of value that will make a Nigerian citizen squeeze her country’s currency for no cause. It is the lack of value that will make a driver go drunk and still drive; because there is no value been placed on his or her life and the loss of it might be inevitable.

It is the lack of value that will make a Nigerian go to Kenya to look for greener pastures. How less green is the land of Nigeria? How more green can any other country be?

It is the lack of value that will make a Nigerian despise her Aba made for Made in Germany; and prefer to pay triple the price to get the foreign recycled “treasure”.

It is time for us as a nation to put value on every of our tasks, materials, resources, home made goods, etc.

God bless Nigeria!
