Posted on May 6, 2026

At a time when economic transformation is increasingly shaped by visionary leadership, and as Africa’s business landscape continues to evolve, the need for bold, innovative, and forward-thinking leaders is more evident than ever.

It is within this context that the African Leadership Business School (ALBS) a premier institution committed to shaping ethical, globally competent, and purpose-driven leaders have announced the African CEO Leadership Forum 2026, scheduled to take place on Friday 15th May, 2026 at the Oriental Hotel, Lagos.

The African CEO Leadership Forum stands as the continent’s most prestigious annual platform for high-level engagement among business and governance leaders.

Conceived from the understanding that Africa’s progress depends not only on capital but on bold, connected leadership, the Forum has evolved into a defining space for dialogue, collaboration, and decision-making.

Over the years, it has brought together thousands of leaders to facilitate significant deal flow, and contributed to policy directions at both national and continental levels.

More than a conference, it represents a movement, one that champions African-led solutions, fosters meaningful partnerships, and accelerates sustainable development across the continent.

A major highlight of the 2026 edition will be the special unveiling of the African CEO Leadership Compendium: Hall of Fame of Africa’s CEOs 2026.

This landmark publication celebrates the continent’s most outstanding corporate leaders, individuals who have shaped industries, built enduring institutions, and inspired a new generation of business excellence.

The Compendium offers an in-depth exploration of each inductee through detailed CEO biographies, career and achievement highlights, company management and governance insights, and historical accounts of the organisations they lead.

It further examines their global impact and continental footprint, thought leadership contributions, personality profiles, and lasting industry and legacy influence.

Designed as both a reference and a tribute, the Compendium serves as a living record of African excellence in leadership and enterprise.

The African CEO Leadership Forum 2026 is proudly sponsored by the African Leadership Business School (ALBS), and supported by the African Development Bank (AfDB), the International Finance Corporation (IFC), the African Union (AU), and the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS).

ALBS is dedicated to delivering world-class business education that integrates cutting-edge research, leadership development, and entrepreneurial innovation.

The institution is committed to nurturing a new generation of leaders equipped with the skills, values, and strategic insight required to drive sustainable economic growth across Africa.

Through its immersive programmes, inclusive learning environment, and strong industry engagement, ALBS continues to position itself at the forefront of leadership development on the continent.
