Aguata-Orumba Women Association Enroll More Persons Into ASHIA

Houston, Texas, United States Of America based old Aguata women organization known as Aguata-Orumba Women Association has enroled more persons into the Anambra State Health Insurance Agency.

The beneficiaries were registered yesterday at the Alex Ekwueme Civic Center in Oko, Aguata Local Government Area where women drawn from towns across Orumba North, Orumba South, and Aguata LGAs were enrolled.

The president of the association, Lady Njideka Achuama, appreciated members of the group for their unflinching support and commitment towards improving the health of the people.

She urged beneficiaries to regularly visit healthcare facilities and utilize the services provided by ASHIA; explaining that increased usage of these services would enable the association to justify further investments and extend the initiative to even more people in need.

The MD/CEO of ASHIA, Dr Simeon Onyemaechi represented Mrs. Nneoma Anoliefo enlightened participants on the benefits of health insurance. She encouraged them to embrace the scheme, highlighting the importance of accessing affordable and quality healthcare services instead of resorting to self-medication or unwholesome treatments.

Newly enrolled members were issued with ASHIA cards.
