Ahead Moroccan Tourney: Prince Kazeem Eletu Coach Hails Players After Beating Buruj 5-0

Head Coach of Prince Kazeem Eletu, Gilles Hugon has expressed satisfaction following the 5-0 victory over Buruj Football Club in a friendly match played early today at Eko Club football pitch, Bode Thomas, Surulere, Lagos.

The friendly was organized to intensify their preparation ahead of Moroccan tourney scheduled for later this month in Casablanca.

Hugon said he was satisfied with the intensity of his boys against the Buruj saying that his team are in good shape for invitational tourney in Morocco.

“I am satisfied with the performance of my players because they played well. It was a good game and we want to continue like this till we get to Morocco, “he said.

Asked if his team are ready for Moroccan tourney, Hugon quickly said their first match in Morocco would determine if the team are ready for the tournament.

“I cannot say we are ready now until we play our first game in Morocco. Like I said before, I like the way my players are responding and approaching their opponents. It shows that the team are making steady progress in our build up for the Moroccan tourney,” he said.

Eletu boys opened the goal account when Buruj recorded own goal in the 26th minutes to take the lead. Buruj who were not clinical in the goal front suffered second goal when Morakinyo Ajadi scored through free kick to end the first half.

Lucky Chinedum find the back of the net in the 47th minutes to make it third goal. Eletu boys were in superb control of the game as Buruj looked ordinary to their opponents. Two goals from Olanrewaju Akinlade and Precious Agu condemned Buruj to embarrassing defeat before the center referee blow the final whistle.
