At the instance of His Royal Majesty, Eze Dr. Amb. Chukwudi Jude Ihenetu (Eze-Igbo Ghana Eze-ohazurume), ahead of Igbo New Yam Festival in Ghana, slated for Sunday, 17th September, 2023; the writer alongside his team, yesterday, paid a heartwarming visit to a man of valour; one of the most powerful kings in Africa and boardroom opinion moulder of international note, His Royal Majesty, King Dr. Ateke Michael Tom (Sekuro The First of Niger Delta), (Amayanabo Of Okochiri Ancient Kingdom).
The essence of the visit was to officially extend a special letter of invitation to King Ateke Michael Tom preparatory to the Igbo New Yam Festival being hosted by HRM Eze Dr. Amb. Chukwudi Jude Ihenetu. An obviously elated HRM King Dr. Michael Ateke Tom, while receiving the letter of invitation, commended Ezeigbo Ghana, Ihenetu, for his commitment in promoting Igbo and Africa’s culture at large, promising to visit the Igbo paramount King in the Republic of Ghana in due time.
The courtesy call afforded the delegation a rare opportunity to have an interactive session with the man, who once fought and defended the Niger Delta Region.
