AIG Adegoke Fayoade Assures Residents Of Adequate Security During Easter Celebration

The Assistant Inspector General of Police in-charge of Zone 2 Command Headquarters, Onikan, Lagos, AIG Adegoke Fayoade, assured the residents of Lagos and Ogun States of adequate security during the Easter celebration. 
P.M.EXPRESS reports as was disclosed by the Police Public Relations Officer,  CSP Ayuba Umma.
She stated that the AIG has directed the Commissioners of Police in-charge of Lagos and Ogun States to ensure watertight security and deployment of Tactical Units around Shagamu Interchange, OPIC Long-Bridge, Badagry Expressway,  Worship Centers, Shopping Malls, Tourist Centers, Market Places, Commercial Centers, Social Gatherings, Residential Areas, Highways, Motor Parks and Garages, Relaxation Centers, Train Stations and Bus Terminals, Critical National Assets as well as Government and Private-owned Properties within their areas of jurisdictions and ensure free-flow of traffic during the Easter celebrations.
Earlier today, AIG Fayoade visited Ojota Park and Agege area of Lagos, where he enjoined the youths to be law abiding, maintain peace and order before moving to Sango Area Command and Shagamu Interchange in Ogun State to ensure compliance with the security directives.
The AIG, while extending greetings to all Christian faithful, urged the general public to go about their celebrations without fear of violence and harassment. He also solicited effective collaboration from members of the public.
