AIG Fayoade Decorates Newly Promoted Officers, Admonishes Them On Professionalism

The Assistant Inspector General of Police, AIG Adegoke Fayoade, on 10th March, 2025, decorated the newly promoted Assistant Commissioners of Police at the Zone 2 Command Headquarters, Onikan, Lagos and admonished them on professionalism. 

 

P.M.EXPRESS reports that AIG Fayoade also appreciated the Inspector General of Police, IGP Kayode Adeolu Egbetokun and the Chairman of the Police Service Commission (PSC) for approving the promotion of the new Assistant Commissioners of Police.

 

The PPRO of Zone 2 Command, CSP Ayuba Tunni Umma, stated that the AIG enjoined them to be professional, remain rule of law compliant in their dealings with members of the public and also to be dedicated in the fight against crime and criminality in their respective areas of jurisdiction as the new rank connotes new responsibilities. He did emphasize that to whom much is given, much is expected.

 

The newly promoted Officers, while expressing gratitude to the Almighty, also appreciated the IGP, Dr Kayode Egbetokun, for finding them deserving of the enviable rank as they promised to live up to expectations and be more responsible in their respective duty posts.
