Alaba Market Apprentice Handed Life Jail For Dipping Finger Inside Girl, 4, Private Part

An apprentice at Alaba International Market, Ojo Local government Area of Lagos State, Nwankwo Ifeanyi, will spend the rest of his life in prison custody for dipping his finger into the private part of his boss’ 4-year old daughter. 
P.M.EXPRESS reports that it was the judgment of Justice R. A. Oshodi of the Special Offences Court, Ikeja, Lagos State, where the defendant, Ifeanyi was found guilty of defiling the little girl.
The incident happened on 20th June, 2017 at Joy Street, Ojo area of Lagos.
The apprentice, Ifeanyi, was said to have used the advantage of living in the same compound with the victim to violate and defile her, which caused her traumatic pains for five years since the incident happened.
The victim informed her parents when she could no longer bear the trauma and the matter was reported to the Police, which led to the arrest of  Ifeanyi and prosecution at the Court.
While delivering the judgment, Justice Oshodi noted that the victim’s life had not remained the same since she was sexually violated and had been living in pain.
“The victim’s father deals on electronics, while the defendant is his apprentice who lives in the same house with them. The defendant sexually assaulted the victim by dipping his finger into her private parts. The victim constantly complained of pain and reported to her father that the defendant did it more than once. She was taken to three hospitals, after which the defendant was arrested and taken to the Ojo Police Station,” the Judge said.
Consequently, Justice Oshodi found him guilty as charged and jailed Ifeanyi for life without an option of fine with hard labour and he was taken to the Correctional Centre at Kirikiri town, Lagos, where he will spend the rest of his life over the dastardly act.
