Alimosho League: Samjason Cannot Afford To Drop Point Against Layenda Says Enebili

Posted on September 24, 2021

Samjason head coach, Mathias Enebili has expressed confidence that his team would inflict more pain on Layenda when both clash tomorrow in the week five of the Alimosho Coaches Council League at Ansar Un- Deen Secondary School, Ayobo, Ipaja, Alimosho, Lagos.

Layenda are currently on the bottom of the table having played four matches, lost two and drew two. Tomorrow’s match would be another tough match for the home team, Layenda as they are confronting defending champions who are yet to lose a match.

Enebili while chatting with our correspondent in Lagos said he respect their opponents but was optimistic that he would come out victorious.

“We respect our opponents so much despite the fact they are on the bottom of the table. It is not going to be an easy match for us because every team wants to beat defending champions. We have prepared well for the match and we cannot afford to drop any point against Layenda,” he said.

Meanwhile, Bucknor who won their last away match would be targeting another victory against Kotech when both clash on Saturday at Airforce Base Shasha, Alimosho, Lagos.

Bucknor Team Manager, Adewale Habeeb Abidemi said his boys are ready to get away point saying that anything short of victory would be a huge disappointment.

“The management has motivated the players and coaching crew and we don’t have any excuse not to perform in our next match against Kotech. It is going to be another tough match for us but we are determined to clinch three-point at stake.

The Disciplinary Committee has warned all teams to avoid vices that can bring the league into disrepute during and after the match.
