Alimosho Voice Congratulates Hon. Bisi Yusuf On His Emergence As Mandate Movement Leader

A pressure group within the All Progressives Congress, APC, in Alimosho has extended her congratulatory message to Hon. Bisi Yusuf on his emergence as the leader of the mandate movement in Alimosho.

The movement which has been riddled with crisis for over 18 months has finally settled its rift.

The crisis which was as a result of the mandate movement denying Bisi Yusuf to install his stooge as the Chairman of Ayobo-Ipaja LCDA and his refusal to accept Abdullahi Enilolobo as the leader of the Mandate movement -made him and his followers to pull out of the group to form a parallel body. That has now finally been settled by Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu.

According to the P.R.O of Alimosho voice, Comrade Alabi Ade, “Finally, the crisis between who is the authentic mandate has been laid to rest between the warring factions in Alimosho. The blame for political misery, financial misappropriation in governance and lack of adequate infrastructure in Alimosho lies at the doorstep of the mandate movement. These are the people and group in power for over a decade running our local governments. While the going was fine within the Mandate Movement, Alimosho residents suffered and are still suffering from their ineptitude. It is glaring that, when the pot of soup started cracking and the soup began to lick, they parted ways. As for us, the development of Alimosho is paramount to us, and they should for the sake of Alimosho people allow peace to reign. Other group in Alimosho are known for peace.

“We once again congratulate Bisi Yusuf on his emergence as the new leader of the Mandate Movement in Alimosho. He should be magnanimous enough to carry Abdullahi Enilolobo’s faction along. The crisis between them made us lose the Presidential election to the Labour Party in the 2023 general election.

“The Bisi Yusuf-led mandate accused Enilolobo’s Group of mismanaging presidential election funds from the 2023 general elections. However, our sources indicate that Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola, leader of the Mandate Movement in Alimosho, intervened and settled the matter. Notably, both groups remain loyal to Aregbesola to this day.

“If truly Bisi Yusuf and Enilolobo are ready to work together as a team, it will surely help Alimosho to garner more votes in 2027. And we advise Bisi Yusuf not to discriminate, he should see them as one Mandate and they should all sever any remnants left of loyalty they have for Aregbesola in them and stand with Asiwaju. We wish the mandate well in this their journey,” Alabi said.

Bisi Yusuf, a three term legislator in the Lagos State House of Assembly and two term executive Chairman, has been approved to lead Mandate Movement and ensure peace.
