Comrade Dauda Meets With Ikeja LGA Revenue Generating Personnel

The Executive Chairman of Ikeja Local Government, Comrade Akeem Olalekan Dauda (AKOD), on Wednesday met with revenue generating personnel of the Local Government in a strategic session aimed at strengthening internally generated revenue.

The meeting, presided over by the Council Chairman, focused on assessing the revenue performance so far, identifying and blocking leakages, as well as exploring effective measures to boost revenue generation within the Local Government. Comrade Dauda emphasized the need for transparency, accountability, and strict adherence to due process in all revenue-related activities.

In their response, the revenue generating staff assured the Chairman of their commitment to improving performance and pledged to operate strictly within the ambit of the law while discharging their duties.

Those in attendance included management staff led by the Council Manager, Mrs. Taiwo Juliana Odubeko, the Council Treasurer, the Director of Legal Services, Area Officers, and other Heads of Departments.
