Amb Comrade Emeni Ibe Commends Gov Fubara Over Largesse To People With Disabilities & Non-Indigenes

The President General of respected Niger Delta socio-cultural group, the Orashi National Congress, ONC, Amb Comrade Emeni Ibe, has commended the Executive Governor of Rivers State, His Excellency Sir Siminalayi Fubara, for remembering the people with disabilities and Non-Indigenes of the state.
Amb. Ibe gave the commendation on Tuesday 23rd December, 2025, following the distribution of relief materials to people with disabilities and Non-Indigenes by the Flood Prevention and Management Committee ably led by the Deputy Governor, Prof Ngozi Odu.
The ONC PG said, “Honestly, I lack words to express my profound gratitude to the Executive Governor of Rivers State, His Excellency Sir Siminalayi Fubara, for the sensitive disposition in recognition of the people with disabilities and Non-Indigenes”.
“Gov Fubara with his Deputy, Prof Ngozi Odu, have consistently shown that Rivers people are in safe hands with them on the saddle. They have displayed that indeed people with disabilities are an integral part of the society.”
“At the Local Government level, people with disabilities complained bitterly that they were not remembered in the sharing of the relief materials. And now, Prof Ngozi Odu and her Committee have wiped their tears. Many thanks to Prof Ngozi Odu and her team for bringing succour to people with disabilities especially in this festive season.”
“This is indeed a step taken in the right direction and I am overwhelmed by the sensitive disposition of the State Government. With this great gesture, people with disabilities, their families and Non-Indigenes will have something to celebrate with and I must commend our amiable Governor and his Deputy for always putting the interest of Rivers people first.”
