AMC Holds 81st Annual Conference

The 81st Annual Conference of the United African Methodist Church (UAMC) Worldwide comes up in the ancient city of Kweme in the Badagry West Local Council Development Area (LCDA), Lagos State from Thursday, January 26 to Sunday, January 29, 2023.

The theme of this year’s Conference is: “DIVINE COUNSEL” – 3 JOHN 1:11.  According to the General Secretary (Administration), Bro. Ayo Bada, about 1000 delegates from churches under the Mission in Nigeria and Republic of Benin are expected to attend this year’s Conference.

He said this year’s Conference will be the first under the new leadership of the Organisation under Barr. ‘Dapo Ogunlewe, after he was elected at the last Conference held in Igbogbo, Lagos State last year.

The Special Guest of Honour at the Conference will be the Executive Governor of Lagos State, Mr. Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu.

Highlights of the Conference will be the consecration of new Bishops for the Organisation as well as commissioning, ordination and elevation of other ministers on Sunday, January 29.

The Conference proper will hold on Saturday, January 28 while, the Women Fellowship and other organs of the Organisation will hold their meetings on Friday, January 27.
