American Gospel Star Cece Winans To Tour Nigerian Cities

American Multiple Grammy winner and gospel singer, Cece Winans will feature in the 2018 Women of Praise (WoP) inaugural concert scheduled for November and early December.

The organisers of WoP concert, Southwest Media and Encase Group Presentation, disclosed this on Sunday.

Ike Ogbuebile, Chief Executive Officer, Encase Group, said there are no adequate platforms to showcase the creativity of gospel artistes except for mega events like ‘The Experience’ in Lagos.

He said the situation necessitated the need for the Women of Praise concert in other parts of the country.

The programme scheduled to hold on November 29 in Abuja and December 2 in Owerri, will also feature Sinach, Ada, Chinyere Udoma and Onos, among others.

Born Priscilla Marie Winans Love but known professionally as CeCe Winans, the 54-year-old gospel singer has sold over 12 million records worldwide and won 12 Grammy Awards.

She is the best-selling female gospel artist of all time, as of 2015.
