Anambra 2021: Reserve Your Votes For PDP, Ekwunife Tells Electorates

The Senator representing Anambra Central Senatorial District, Uche Ekwunife, PhD has urged Anambra electorates to vote for the PDP Candidate, Mr Valentine Ozigbo in the November 6 governorship election.

Ekwunife said this at the wedding ceremony of one of her most devoted staff, Mr Chinonso Ofozoba. Mr Ofozoba is the Head Anambra Central Senatorial District Liaison Office.

Speaking, Ekwunife said that the PDP is the only political party in the state that has produced leaders whose developmental strides and contributions to the stability, growth and development of the state are unmatched.

“The 2021 governorship election presents an opportunity for Anambrarians to elect a new governor and most importantly enthrone new and vibrant set of leaders that will reposition the state to the path of rapid economic and infrastructural development.”, the grassroots friendly Lawmaker stated.

“A careful examination of the developmental track record of all the elected public office holders of PDP extraction, from the Senate, Federal House of Representatives and State House of Assembly indicates clearly that the party is indeed committed to providing Anambrarians with purposeful leadership”.

The Chairman Senate committee on Science, Technology and Innovation further asserted her belief in free and fair elections. She expressed optimism that INEC will lead a process that will enable Anambrarians exercise their franchise for the leading opposition party in the state. “Anambra is a PDP State”, the ranking Senator added.

Ekwunife equally used the opportunity to beckon on Anambrarians to utilize the opportunity of the ongoing voters registration to equip themselves with the Permanent Voter Card, which according to her will enable them cast their votes for PDP.

“You cannot express your love for PDP, for Valentine Ozigbo, for Peter Obi, for Uche Ekwunife or for any of the elected and performing public officers in PDP without your voter card”, the widely celebrated lawmaker told the enthusiastic crowd.

Recall that Senator Ekwunife who was re-elected to the Nigerian Senate due to her exceptional representation and people-orientated approach to governance was appointed the Chairman PDP governorship campaign council by the National leadership of the party. She has been hailed for her efforts to unite the party ahead the crucial guber election.

With numerous laudable projects and many leadership accomplishments recorded over the years by PDP lawmakers in the state and the visionary leadership of H. E Mr Peter Obi as well as the support of other stakeholders in the party, PDP and its candidate, the multiple-award winning global CEO and trailblazer, Valentine Ozigbo is confident of victory come November 6.
