Anambra Guber 2021: I’m Ready To Serve And WILL Make You Proud – Nwankpo Says

The All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA leading Governorship aspirant, Nze Akachukwu Nwankpo, has expressed his readiness to vie for the November 6, Anambra Governorship election. 

He made this known during a strategic meeting with APGA faithfuls on Tuesday, in Awka. Nwankpo declared that the difference between the APGA and opposition parties in two words ‘Vision’ and ‘Mission’, and that the APGA has a ‘Vision’ for Anambra, while the opposition parties have a ‘Mission’.

The politician emphasised to the gathering that he had been consulting with many of the leaders and stakeholders of the party in the last few months and have gained huge political capital for the Gubernatorial race.

“Presently, I am consulting with the major stakeholders. I have built a network of personal relationships across the length and breadth of Anambra, both in my private capacity as a businessman and public life as a former aide to ex President Goodluck Jonathan and politician; these networks are expected to come handy in the process of building bonds and synergies necessary in government. My ultimate goal is to work towards the victory of our party in the governorship election. To achieve this, I am prepared to work with all leaders of our party, various interest groups and individuals.” Nze Nwankpo stated.
 Oputa Ifeadi, as he is fondly called, declared that he stood as a bridge in between the old and modern day progressive different and diverse generation. He added that if elected the Governor of Anambra State, that his administration must harness the abundant energies of Anambra youths and gain from the timeless wisdom of our elders.

“I am a home-based politician, I am familiar with the challenges of our people. I am the most qualified to be the Governor of Anambra State. Anambra needs a Governor that can lead the state to meet the needs, aspirations and yearnings of her citizens. It’s Anambra families first. Our common enemy is “Poverty” and my Government will declare war against poverty. I’m ready to serve and will make you proud” Nwankpo said. 

According to him, “One of my focus as the Governor, is to create enabling environment for job opportunities, as well as infrastructural development, improvement on health and well being of the people of Anambra State, bringing investors to the State to boost economy and increase the IGR of the State, and giving special treatment to the aged people, pregnant women and physically challenged people”.

He explained further that considering the substantial level of socio-economic growth and progress experienced in the State for the past 7 years under the  leadership of Governor Obiano, every well-meaning citizens of the State will agree that continuity in vision, idea, mission and focus is non negotiable.
