Anambra Police Arrests Suspected Armed Robber On Wanted List & Recovers Firearm

Operatives from the Anambra State Police Command attached to Rapid Response squad, Awkuzu, at midday of 20th September 2025, and acting on credible intelligence, arrested one Kingsley Eze, male, aged 34 years, in Abagana. The suspect has been on the Police wanted list for alleged involvement in armed robbery.
According to the PPRO, SP Tochukwu Ikenga, during the arrest, one Magnum Pump Action gun, along with twelve (12) live cartridges, were recovered from him.
The suspect is currently in custody undergoing interrogation and would be charged to Court upon the conclusion of the investigations by the Police.
