Saturday, August 2, 2025, will be etched in history as a defining moment in Anambra State’s politics. This day marks a significant endorsement of Governor Prof. Chukwuma Charles Soludo, CFR, by the people of Anambra South Senatorial Zone. It also signals the kickoff of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) campaign for the forthcoming senatorial by-election in the zone.

The event promises to be a grand celebration, attracting a diverse range of guests, including state leaders, top politicians, traditional rulers, business moguls, celebrities, party stakeholders, and the masses. The people of Anambra South will roll out the red carpet to honor their sons: Governor Soludo, who is seeking a second four-year term, and APGA’s senatorial candidate, Chief Emmanuel Nwachukwu.

The “Anambra South Mega Rally of Endorsement” will take place at Ekwuluobia Township Stadium in Aguata Local Government Area, starting at 11:00 a.m. This carnival-like event will feature thrilling performances, spectacular displays, and mass affirmations of support for the candidates.

The rally is a testament to the leaders and people of Anambra South’s appreciation for Governor Soludo’s remarkable achievements in his first 40 months in office. It is also a call to action to support his re-election bid and ensure continuity in leadership. The rally’s slogan, “Let the Solution Continue,” encapsulates the people’s desire for continued progress and development in Anambra State.

With Chief Nwachukwu, a reputable corporate executive and community leader, vying for the senatorial seat, this event is poised to be a significant milestone in the political landscape of Anambra State.
