Anambra Youth Conscience Push For Comrade Harris Chuma As APGA National Publicity Secretary

Anambra Youth Conscience – a group of vibrant and dedicated Anambra youths are rooting and endorsing Comrade Harris Chuma as APGA National Publicity Secretary.

According to the spokesperson of the group, Comrade Israel Chibuike Uloka, the group made their decision known having gathered that Barr. Ifeatu Obi-Okoye the immediate past National Publicist of All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA) has been appointed as SSA to the Governor of Anambra State on Political Matters.

The group is convinced that it will be a great feat for the 3rd largest political party in Nigeria, if they will give honour to whom honour is due and do justice to the national Image of the party if there are any plans to overtake PDP and APC in coming years.

Comrade Israel who is believed to be a vibrant online media person and a strong political mobiliser in the state, calls on APGA to determine the strength of the party in the coming years and elections with the appointment of the National Publicity Secretary.

In his words: “Publicity is one of the those tools that sells a product in the digital world more. APGA cannot match the prowess of PDP and APC at the National level. Therefore, there is need for proper image propagation which was how APC came to be. The Party’s National Working Committee may be grounded to make things work at the National Park of politics, but the results might not manifest when there is no gong to sound out and relate with the media across the country.
Barr. Ifeatu Obi-Okoye tried his all for the party but was no where near the strength of APC or PDP. The party needs someone who will contribute immensely to her positive fortunes and take it to the next level within a short period of time”

Anambra Youth Conscience posits that APGA needs a thoroughbred professional, who is with the media and an image maker who will always project and defend the party in the face of vicious attacks from media urchins and other gladiators aiming to deter the efforts of hard-working National Working Committee.

APGA is facing serious image issues as most people regard it as the Igbo party. We therefore need a socialist and great communicator who has the capacity and prowess to rebrand and propagate the party for possible national integration.

Having worked alongside Comrade Harris Chuma during Anambra gubernatorial campaign and election, Anambra Youth Conscience can state without fear or favour that he is the all round best option for the position. Let’s also note that Comrade Harris alongside few other people singlehandedly built APC in the media, and he commands great respect among other professionals.The capacity Joe Igbokwe and other APC publicists operate in was formerly mastered by him prior to 2015 General Elections. He led them. To the media he voiced and published for the APC which allowed them to gain ground and terminals in the media ahead of PDP.

We must therefore send our best when it comes to such competitive conditions. He is determined to fight it dirty when it concerns good governance, image making and perception management.

“Comrade Harris Chuma is the only one we know who can combine his know how as a media person and experience in government to push for a better image for APGA. Chuma also has the energy and expertise to harness all the potentials of the party in his image remaking task and has garnered newsroom experience to relate well with media handlers in the country.”

He is stuffed politically. He knows how best to achieve a particular result. He is a plus for APGA if there’s any intention at all to make the party a National one and compete anywhere with either PDP or APC.

He’s currently the Director General (DG) of Independent Media Support Organization (IMSO) an umbrella he established in 2017 to provide security, reliable Information as well as protect the rights of journalists in Anambra State during the Anambra gubernatorial electioneering campaigns and the election proper.
