African Union is not a union of African leaders as it is operated to be. Rather, it is a union of the whole African population that has regional representatives for the sole interests of African population. The whole operations in the union tend to protect african leaders’ interest against the African population.

The most elusive mantle in A.U is the gutsiness to tell their colleagues the truth in the face of Western intimidation. One may be right to say that the union is a colonial extension to protect colonial interests in Africa. A union that celebrates and protect the interests of regional representatives instead of that of the represented regions is a union of mediocres, falsity and of narcissists.

The ordinary man, who stole individual person’s goat in Africa is in jail, while the leaders who stole public gold are in their union of megalomaniacs, applauded and protected by other members.

Where is African Union Leadership in the midst of a corrupt system that spreads a portion of the African wealth in the pockets of African leaders and their cohorts, while the left larger portion is looted by foreign nations? Of what use is the union when some of the members manipulate election results, oppress justice routinaries and have their citizens killed to either secure political power or financial gains? What have they done to stop the malicious system that allows third term, life time and hereditary presidency? Uninteresting are the dancing steps of a dancer who stays too long on the dancing floor.

Some representative members of A.U do rule their nations from wheelchairs, foreign nations while some rule with loss of memory. This disgusting posture has made it certain on African population that criminal politicians can no longer be removed through ballot boxes but through the barrel of guns, as a result of the colossal rigging apparatus in our electoral system.

The corruption in our democracy has made military coup a welcoming idea in the bleeding hearts of the African population. The destructive lies from most african politicians’ tongues are more dangerous than the bullet rulership system of the military, which as a result, gave birth to a situation that would make an African citizen choose to go through Meditarian Sea in a dangerous manner inside an inflated baloon in order to escape the torments of the corrupt democratic settings on our soil.

It is time for A.U representatives to review their position and embrace service leadership as they push to support and enthrone the fit in every region before African soil becomes a region of successive military mutiny.
