APC Councillorship Candidates In Ifelodun LCDA Pay Courtesy Visit To Mayor Okeowo

The Councillorship candidates of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ifelodun Local Council Development Area (LCDA) paid a courtesy visit to the Executive Chairman, Mayor Olufemi Akanbi Okeowo, at his office yesterday, to demonstrate their loyalty, strategic alignment, and shared progressive vision.

 

The seven candidates, who were not only adopted by the Apex Leadership of the party in the LCDA but also convincingly won at the just-concluded APC primary elections held last Saturday, visited to express their appreciation and reaffirm their commitment to grassroots development and party unity.

The victorious candidates are:
• Sefiu Taoreed Alao – Ward A
• Ojora Adejiyan Ganiyu – Ward B
• Adeola Wasiu A. – Ward C
• Ajibola Yusuff Ishola – Ward D
• Adebayo Blessing A. – Ward E (unavoidably absent)
• Ilesanmi Elijah Oluwatosin – Ward F
• Sarumi Adekola Jide – Ward G

 

During the visit, Mayor Okeowo congratulated the candidates on their well-deserved victories, describing them as the true reflection of the people’s choice and the party’s confidence in their capabilities. He urged them to remain accessible to their constituents, uphold party discipline, and be ambassadors of the progressive ideology.

He also reiterated his unwavering support for their campaigns and emphasized that his administration remains committed to fostering unity and delivering impactful governance across all wards in Ifelodun LCDA.

This visit once again highlights Mayor Okeowo’s role as a stabilizing force within the party and a mentor to the next generation of leaders in Ifelodun LCDA.
