APGA Is Not Unprepared For A Credible Process

One of the routes to a “free and fair” primary election is forging affective relationships with critical Stakeholders within the Party — persons who shape opinion and influence thoughts that guide Party action. A cursory look at the trajectory of Soludo’s consultation reveals a man who is deliberately warming his way into the hearts of those that matter at this stage of the electoral process.
Strategic engagement is not about rabble rousing. It is not about insouciant “entitlement mentality”. It is not about preempting outcomes on the basis of pecuniary considerations. It is not about holding the party to ransom for failing to do ones bidding. It is not about being insensitive to popular opinion.
While Soludo continues to busy himself with the task of uniting APGA for what he has termed a “Consequential Election”, many others are dwelling on the mundane things that adds zero value to whatever aspiration they have. Soludo has further declared, in an audacious manner akin to the disposition of a Man who is double sure of his mettle, that the Party should consider an “option A4” approach in deciding who flies its flag. For those who want any other thing asides this, ndi APGA, and by extension, ndi Anambra would love to hear their proposition on what constitutes a “Free and Fair” primary election.
As at today, the Soludo candidacy stands unrivalled. It is difficult to beat a Man who walks his talk. And if the feelers remain unchanged, Soludo may emerge the Consensus candidate of APGA.
