The local council elections on September 28 were significant, as the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) won all 21 local government chairmanship and 326 ward counselorship positions in Anambra state. Ndi Anambra views this outcome as a show of support for the current Soludo APGA-led government that has brought accelerated transformation in all sectors in the state within two years in office without borrowing a kobo.

Meanwhile, the non-existing APC and disintegrated Labour Party (LP) are currently crying like a little girl.

Meanwhile, the non-existing APC and disintegrated Labour Party (LP) are currently crying like a little girl and wailing as sore losers for losing woefully in an election they were afraid to field candidates, didn’t campaign and didn’t vote for the candidates of their choice, even when the electoral processes were open, transparent, peaceful and harmonious. So why the hot tears from those who wanted local council elections conducted but ran away when it’s actual time?

The council election was a significant test for APGA’s preparation for the 2025 governorship election. It also served as a mock election for Ndi Anambra to renew their support for the APGA government. They voted peacefully and defended their votes across the political polling units in the state. Soludo is committed to ensuring transparency in the government’s affairs, and the Saturday election was a sign of hope for a better Anambra and accelerated grassroots development.
