Arrested Yoruba Nation Agitators Gets N300, 000 Bail

About 49 Yoruba Nation agitators, who were arrested on 3rd July, 2021, at the Ojota rally, had been granted bail.

P.M.EXPRESS reports that a Lagos State Magistrate Court sitting in Yaba on Monday granted them bail.

The Communications Manager for the umbrella body of Yoruba Self-Determination Groups, Ilana Omo Oodua, Mr. Maxwell Adeleye, in a statement on Monday, confirmed the development.

The bail conditions are that the agitators will have to provide N300, 000 with two sureties each. One of the sureties must be a family member and the other a community leader or clergy with proof of tax payment.

The agitators will have to remain in custody pending the fulfillment of the bail conditions
