As Soludo Goes Hard On Criminal Elements

Governor Chukwuma Soludo of Anambra State has commended Members of the Anambra Vigilante Group (AVG) and other Security Agencies for neutralizing members of a dreaded criminal gang terrorizing and kidnapping innocent citizens along the Nkpor-Umuoji-Ideani Road.

Following intelligence report on the activities of the marauding gang along this axis of the State, the security forces mobilized strong reinforcement, and on Sunday the 7th of May, 2023, after a hot chase and fierce gun battle, the Anambra Security forces neutralized four of the rampaging criminals and made several arrests.

Those in detention are already providing information that will aide the activities of the Security Agencies in the coming days.

Part of the Liveability of the homeland includes providing ironclad security for ndi Anambra and visitors alike, and Governor Soludo has committed to ensuring this as supporting evidence shows that since he assumed office he has reclaimed Anambra from the stranglehold of criminals, particularly in the Southern parts of the State plus Ogbaru where they had turned to a killing field.

Speaking on the new turn of security in Anambra State, Governor Soludo has reiterated stern warnings to criminal elements in the State that Anambra under his watch will neither tolerate nor show mercy to any form of criminality. The Security Agencies recovered a Lexus jeep, and some deadly weapons from the criminals. In spite of the charms straddled around their waists, they still fell to the superior fire power of Men of the Anambra Vigilante Group.
