AWGA Honours Iyom Bianca Odumegwu Ojukwu With Prestigious Award Of Excellence

Anambra Women General Assembly, AWGA, the Apex sociocultural women’s organization of women of Anambra State and women married to men of Anambra origin within Nigeria and the Diaspora, has presented its prestigious Award of Excellence to the wife of late Biafra Head of State and Nigeria’s former Ambassador to the Kingdom of Spain and Permanent Representative to United Nations World Tourism Organisation, Ambassador Bianca Odumegwu Ojukwu.
The award is in recognition of her number selfless services rendered to communities, remarkable achievements and significant contributions to improving the lives of women in Nigeria.
Lady Patience Ikeobi, the Coordinator of AWGA in her glowing tribute to Ambassador Ojukwu, urged her to continue to advocate for women’s rights and interests and expressed optimism that their partnership will yield even greater results and benefits for women not only in Anambra State, but Nigeria as a whole.
