Ayorinde Condoles With Family Of House of Reps Member, Hon. Olaide Akinremi

A Senior Advocate of Nigeria, Chief Bolaji Ayorinde, has described the  death of late member of the House of Representatives representing Ibadan North Federal Constituency of Oyo State, Hon. Olaide Akinremi, as a great great loss to the State.

 

Ayorinde, who is the Agbaofin of Ibadanland, said the late lawmaker would be greatly missed by all for his outstanding contributions to the society.

 

In a condolence message sent to the deceased family, Ayorinde, who is also the Chairman, Oyo State Advisory Council, described the sudden demise of the member of the Green Chamber as shocking, adding that the deceased was a very outspoken and courageous patriot, who worked hard to ensure that government in the country were responsible and accountable.

 

According to Ayorinde, the late Federal lawmaker was a dedicated and hardworking lawmaker who contributed significantly to the development of the country.

 

He described the late Akinremi as a staunch advocate for policies and initiatives that promoted social welfare, economic growth, and scientific research.

 

According to Ayorinde, the late Akinremi was a grassroots politician as he was an astute statesman who leveraged his goodwill and network of relationships to attract positive impact to the people of his constituency.

 

He urged  his colleagues, friends and associates, to honour his memory by continually upholding the values of honesty and accountability, which served as his reference point throughout his public service

 

Ayorinde prayed that Almighty God would comfort all who mourned him and grant his soul eternal rest.

 

Hon. Akinremi who served as Chairman of the House Committee on Science Research Institutions, passed away on Wednesday morning.

 

Until his demise, the Oyo legislator was a dedicated public servant known for his unwavering commitment to the development of his constituency and the country at large. His passion for service, coupled with his deep understanding of the needs and aspirations of his people.

 

Meanwhile, Oyo State Governor, Seyi Makinde, has ordered that flags be flown at half-mast throughout Oyo State in honour of the departed Federal House of Representatives members for Ibadan North federal constituency, Hon. Olaide Akinremi.
