Then, Behave Like A Jew!

PRINCE CADE AGBUGBA

One of the enduring, though not written history of Ndigbo, is her kinship with the Semite Race.  A closer look at their attitude towards education, commerce and the ability to function under heavy pressures and threats from the outside, seems remarkably close than with, for example, some ethnicity in Nigeria and Africa.

But, as I have written in the past, I do not buy the Ndigbo coming from Israel part of the saga, is not backed by the history of the world data. We are a much older race than the Semites, but both race we have a discernible spiritual kingship in common.

That brings me to the mainstay of this update.

Why is the Igbo States not copying economic plans from the Israeli superior templates, instead of the Nigeria primitive template that has failed the nation the last 60 years? (Lazy and 100% dependence on Oil & Gas in the Delta Region)

AGRICULTURE
South East like Israel, exit in a small patch of land compared to their neighbors – Example Israel landmass is 0.18% compared to Arab land mass, yet all Arab countries are food importers and Israel global leader in food export.

TECHNOLOGY & SHARE ECONOMICS

Ndigbo must change her agriculture system from traditional primitive Nigeria greedy system – where states are against states, regions against regions and party plans against the other party plans, even though they all buy food in a common market.

And move to advance Agriculture using an already existing template from Israel and other civilized minds

(1) The LGA in the South East should establish community farming scheme

(2) The LGA Authority buys the farming machines, which they lease and maintain for community farmers.

(3) The LGA Authority sells the harvest to the local and overseas market.

(4) Farmers paid the full price of their harvest minus service and machine lease cost.

ENERGY POLITICS
Imo State and Abia are very rich in natural gas reserve, Imo State according to 2011 exploration data has over 8 Trillion SCF Gas Reserves. Imo State & Abia gets an extra share as an oil and gas producer.

SCENARIO IMO

Let’s try the following assumptions:

(a) Assume Imo state takes her share each year in natural gas, not in the dollar.

(b) Assume she builds LPG cylinder companies (very low and affordable tech capital unlike oil refinery)  and gives young starts-ups companies seed capital to produce cheap gas stoves and the same time ban the use of firewood and kerosene stove for cooking in Imo State

(b) Reduce the price of Natural gas from current N400 per kg to N250 (62%) within the state.

The State estimated 1.2 million households in Imo, using 1kg gas for cooking each day, means a revenue of over N100 billion each year.

(c) A Savings of over N750 billion for the 4.7 million citizens on kerosene, firewood, and charcoal.

STATE TOURISM

(d) Because all other states will be trooping to Imo for cheap natural gas, will increase state tourism by more than 1,000% A huge stimulant and benefits for petty traders, roadside stores, eatery, and other hospitability chains in the state-

CHILDREN

The health risk scale of CO2 emission gasses is not equally spread. While the CO2 emission released in the atmosphere from Owerri, will increase the entire global temperature -Mean mixing ratio parts per million (ppm)

The fine particular matter PM10/PM2.5 emitted from a small generator, paraffin lamps, kerosene stoves, wood fuel, and charcoal in Owerri will most likely choke only babies in Owerri metropolis to a painful death; kill their father and mother with stroke and lung cancer.

These Imo green gas economy (IGGE) will reduce infant mortality in Imo State by more than  40% and decrease the regions mortality rate by 7 – 10% and increase lifespan by 11 – 25% (Nigeria 2018 life expectancy Male 54.7, female 55.7 rankings 178.out of 183 countries.

NOTHING TO LOSE

We will have nothing to lose by discarding primitive Nigeria Agro-template and try something that requires a little bit of thinking.

A milk cow in a stall of 102 x 52 inches of living space and another 20 inches (16 to 24 inches) of open forward space for lunging motions in Israel, Europe or North America produces 25 – 45 liters of milk daily and Nigeria cows that travels from Sokoto to Owerri, killing many farmers and burning villages on their way to Owerri, have problem producing half a liter of milk per day.

Nigeria’s non-oil revenues 2019, fell by 17% in the fourth quarter of 2018 from the preceding quarter, the government’s non-oil revenue was below the proportionate quarterly budget estimate of N1.4 trillion. In simple English, we are living solely on oil money and borrowed money from China.

The 2019 election map shows that South-South and South East are no longer investing their hopes and aspiration as people, in Buhari 2019, Tinubu 2023 and El-Rufai 2031 Nigeria. They need economic freedom, not political freedom-  that will create jobs for their children, feed the hungry and stop their precious children falling into depression in Buhari 2019, Tinubu 2023 & El-Rufai 2031 world, where kids commit suicide as upwards mobility.
