Bet9ja Ekiti Football League: Moyero FC, 3 Other Teams Qualify For Final Play Offs

The battle for the ultimate prize in the Bet9ja Ekiti State Football League has reached its crescendos as four teams emerged from the round robbing league matches played across different parts and venues of the state.

The competition sponsored by Bet9ja Super Agents in Ekiti with the support from the head office of  Nigeria’s foremost betting company, started with 60 teams taking part in the playoffs, that produced 18 teams pooled into four groups in the league proper.

At the end of the league stage, Moyero FC, Ifaki United FC, Soccer Academy, Igede and EKSU Galacticos emerged as top four teams that qualified for the final play offs in a competition that witnessed dramas, intrigues, excitement and a total of 95 goals.

According to a statement by the Ekiti FA boss, Bayo Olanlege,  competition for the N1 million grand prize has been competitive and exciting. The 1st , 2nd and 3rd shall have receive N500,000 , N300,000 and N200,000 as cash prizes respectively.

“I am delighted that the competition has been successful so far. And I must commend efforts of the organising committee chaired by Mr. Olabayo Badmos and other sub committees in ensuring we successfully navigated to this final phase of the competition despite the challenges.

“Kudos to all the teams, players, officials and match officials that participated in the competition from the beginning. I believe, together, we can take Ekiti football to greater heights,” the amiable and highly resourceful football administrator remarked gleefully.

Meanwhile, fixtures for the final phase of the competition is expected to be released later this week.
