Better Welfare Package Will Attract Top Players To Buruj FC – Management

Posted on January 30, 2021

Following the official clearance by the NLO, Division One to Buruj Football Club hence making them eligible to participate in the upcoming new league season after acquiring FC Rock Kogi State slot, the Ikorodu based club is now ready to bring in top crop of players as they begin their campaign.

As they are getting prepared for the NLO after several productive years in the academy, putting players together and people looking up to what the Management has put in place, welfare structure, salary plan, bonuses, pre-season tour for players in Europe, Asia and probably Canada, will no doubt draw top quality players to the club.
The pre-season tour is meant to expose players horizon in terms of high quality equipment for training if eventually they have the opportunity to move abroad so that it will not be new to them.

Despite the academy structure, they pay salaries for every competition played, so going into NLO, the salary structure and package form the major interest of the Management following communication with the CEO of the club, Waheed Salaudeen.

“The only thing we are working on as March 7 has been given for the commencement of the season, is the salary package and what we have is enough to draw top talents, give player exposure for European tour for pre-season with the aim of promotion at the apex.”

“All our supporters right from the time we began as an academy are happy that we are now in the NLO, the support we are getting from home and abroad is still very much available, they can see the returns of their investment in football. Definitely they are not going back now,” he assuredly stated.
