Big Brother Surprises Audience With 3 Evictions During The Sunday Live Show

Posted on September 5, 2022

With at least one housemate leaving the house in the fifth live eviction show, the mood in the Big Brother house was solemn as no-one knew who would be next after Amaka’s exit last Monday.

Before going into the night’s business, Ebuka brought in Monday’s surprise evictee, Amaka, for a chat and asked about her experience in the house.

She described it as enjoyable and chaotic.

When questioned about her relationship with Giddyfia and Phyna, she wished them the best for the rest of the season.

She also said she’s looking forward to brand endorsements and launching her clothing and skincare line.

After having a brief chat with the housemates, Dotun in particular, the host dove into the night’s business, same as last week.

He informed the housemates that there was another fake housemate in Biggie’s house; and after a few moments where they seemed reluctant to reveal themselves, Deji was called out as the fake housemate and asked to leave the house, to the utter shock of most of the other housemates.

In his post-eviction chat with Ebuka, he announced that he would particularly miss ChiChi and Dotun, and expressed plans to pursue his relationship with the former outside of the house.

He also voiced his reservations about Doyin and said he’s open to working in modelling and fashion.

With tensions rising, Ebuka announced that a second exit was imminent and this time, Diana was announced as the next housemate to exit the Big Brother house.

Her memorable journey in Biggie’s house left the live audience in stitches and she shared her future plans to launch a skincare line as pivotal for her.

She graciously thanked the audience for their love and confirmed that she had had a fantastic time and was grateful for the experience.

To douse the tension, Afro RnB singer, Chike, treated the audience to his new single, ‘On The Moon’. His performance was shortly followed by Miz Vick playing a quick game of ‘Save and Evict’ with some audience members, with amusing responses reflecting the thoughts and preferences of the viewing audience.

Leaving the housemates to the cold hands of eviction, Ebuka took to the stage again and was joined by media personality and BBNaija S7: The Buzz host, Toke Makinwa. The talk show host shared how fans and the audience can catch all the heat, behind-the-scenes gists, and breakdown of the house’s drama on Showmax’s The Buzz.

With the live show drawing to a close, Ebuka revealed that Big Brother wasn’t done with the evictions, as indeed there was to be a third exit from the house. Wishing all the housemates luck, Ebuka called on Giddyfia as the next housemate to be evicted. In his usual jovial way, Giddyfia expressed his appreciation for the opportunities being on the show has afforded him.

After congratulating the rest of the housemates for another week, Ebuka closed the show with a warning to the housemate to stay watchful as they approach the critical days of the season.
